Finally, I have something new to show you in my blog. I have had a lot to do lately concering work - but now I have had the opportunity to start our christmascards. (About time you might say :))
Anyhow, I have wanted to give the "vintage look" a try, so for the first time - let me introduce you to the new "collection":
"Marte Somlelitt goes Vintage"
Har alltid synes vintage stilen er lekker, og jeg prøver å gjennomføre noe av det hjemme. Allikevel har jeg aldri gitt det et forsøk på kortfronten. Til nå.. Veldig morsomt synes jeg, også ble de jo litt "meg" synes jeg selv da ;) Har mye å lære, men her kommer iallefall mine 2 første forsøk:
Card #1 -Light blue.
Bazzill Chipboard. Painted in a light blue color, scraped with fine sandpaper and distressed with the Archival Ink, coffee.
At
Scrappehuset, I found a tutorial for making homemade decorative pins. Perfect for Marte Somlelitt - a way to combine two of my hobbies! (Cards and jewelry). These pins are decorated with freshwater pearls and silver.
Card #2: Light/dark Aubergine
Small roses from Prima. Bought a package of these today. Were the last ones, but new colors are purchased from the
Papirloftet website today. Woho!
The angel images is from
Minnehjørnet. They offer 3 different sheets of beautiful vintage photos, for 25 kr each. A musth have I came to realize... They don't offer the sheets per web, but after a really nice phonecall and great service - you can be the pleased owner as well.
